Hello Everybody:
I’ve neglected writing my updates. I just checked and the last one I wrote was in October. Where does the time go? A lot has happened since then. I guess I did send off Christmas updates so December was the last update. Either way, it’s now April, the month of Spring showers. Nothing new for Seattle. We had a pretty rough winter. Spring has been mild. We have been having lots of sun breaks amidst the rain. I think we’ve had more sunshine than my folks in California!
Emma continues to enjoy preschool. They had a fieldtrip recently where they took a ride on the city bus. They went a half a mile to the Community College and walked around campus. She still talks about putting her hand in the “water” (fountain). She had a blast. I really like her teachers. They have lots of energy and are very creative. She has been learning her letters. Each week she brings home a new letter sheet. We have them all hanging in her room. We try to review them every so often.
Tate is growing like a weed. Tall and skinny! His hair is out of control. It’s a big blonde puff ball on his head. I guess I should get it cut one of these days. He is also talking up a storm, however you have to listen closely to understand what he is saying. His most used words are “mama”, “daddy”, Emma”, “ball”, “dog” and “airplane”. He loves to play outside – no matter the weather. He and Emma are so fun to play with. I’m very lucky to get to stay home and hang out with them. Sometimes we drive each other crazy, but that’s just par for the course.
Keith started up softball on his brother’s team this week, and I’m starting a Stake Singing Sisters for an Enrichment Group. That’s all for now. Here are some pics...

Have a great week!!!
Love,
Catherine and Family
