Well, here I am with my new hairdo.  It takes lots of courage to post these photos but my strength comes from family and friends and most importantly from my sister.  Thanks for a great week Caroline and helping me accept and embrace my new normal.

Catherine, you look beautiful! You are such a beautiful person inside and out and I am so glad you are healing.

You've got the face (and head shape!) to pull that look off, Catherine. And you'll be surprised how quickly you've got a nice little 'do going on.

So glad that you are up and around and getting better again. How cool that Caroline could be there!

I hadn't checked your blog in a while and just read about all that's been happening. I'm so sorry that you've been going through all of this. Health issues are scary to say the least.

You look GORGEOUS with that short cut. Keep up the good spirits...you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

You look GORGEOUS! Hair is way over-rated...says someone who has enough hair for three people. Take care. You're in my prayers.

The nurses were right: you have the face to pull off this look!

Of course, you also have the heart to make it work, but we all know that already...

You look so gorgeous. Not many can pull off a shaved head but you do it beautifully! I couldn't believe it when Caroline told me what had happened to you. You've been in our prayers. Hope you're up and around soon!
